Enter the world of Chardonnay during a unique workshop dedicated to Champagne's iconic white grape variety. Through a comparative tasting of three Blanc de Blancs champagnes, you will discover how a single grape variety can reveal very different expressions depending on the winemaking choices, the time and the vintage. This workshop has been designed as a true journey of discovery, where each cuvée will reveal a unique facet of Chardonnay. Far from stereotypes, this experience will highlight the aromatic richness, diversity of textures, and ability to evolve of this chameleon grape variety. Located in Pierry, a village classified as Premier Cru south of Épernay, Maison Vincent d'Astrée has been producing its cuvées since 1956 in the heart of its historic site. It is in this small, family-run estate, nestled on the hillside and surrounded by vineyards, that we welcome you to share our passion for champagne and the terroir. The workshop program includes: - An introduction to the history of Maison Vincent d'Astrée and our roots in the region. - A discovery of the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay terroir, ideal for expressing Chardonnay. - A guided tasting of three Blanc de Blancs champagnes from different vinifications, to better understand the role of time, vintage, and aging style. - An introduction to professional tasting: visual, olfactory, and gustatory analysis.
