Evolution 2

Evolution 2 is an award winning ski school that is fast becoming one of the most respected in the French Alps. Evolution 2 are now offering summer activities in Chamonix from white water rafting, mountain biking and paragliding. Children visiting Chamonix are not forgotten with the ever popular 'Children's Base camp'(see link for more details - http://www.evolution2-chamonix.com/evo_en_100.html). We offer a personal approach to learning and our principals are simple - very small groups, English spoken instructors who are specialists in their field and most importantly the emphasis is on real progression and FUN.

Skiing, Snowboarding, Telemarking: we run group courses for all levels from beginners through to advanced and off-piste. Evolution 2 courses are designed to improve your all-round performance. Our personal approach combined with small group sizes mean you will see real progression.

Private lessons offer you the opportunity to tailor your time. You set the objectives and our instructors will help you to achieve them. They are also perfect if you are not keen on group lessons or maybe you prefer being guided around the mountain whilst getting some technical advice and priority in the lift queues.

Ski and Snowboarding for women: we have developed a series of courses exclusively for women, taught by women. Teaching developed to suit your specific needs, plus a chance to test the latest women's ski equipment. For intermediate or advanced skiers.

During the summer, you can partake in rock climbing courses of all levels, mountaineering and alpinism courses. Besides from courses, Evolution 2 also offers activities like paragliding, helicopter flights and hot air balloon flights. Our rafting sessions are also extremely popular, especially the Dora Baltee sessions in Italy which is one of the most beautiful and exciting white water spots in Europe. You can also do kayak rafting, hydrospeed, canyoning, as well as mountain biking, via ferrata and different mountain hikes like the famous Tour du Mont Blanc and glacier touring hikes.

Panda Club for kids: designed strictly for children! Evolution 2 children's ski school and summer base camp have been running since 1987. We have 3 priorities - fun, safety and continuous assessment. Our courses and activities are run by Evolution 2 English speaking staff and instructors who's only interest is making sure your children are happy and enjoying themselves. The majority of children attending are English speaking making it easy for your children to integrate and make friends.
