Highlights
- Wading in Breton mudflats
- Walk in the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel
- Departure/arrival from the oyster market, open every day and all day
Description
The live guide, wearing white boots, will meet you at the foot of the oyster market with her boot trailer. She will equip you with boots (sizes 20 to 50!) (rental included in the price) and then you will head to the oyster farms on foot, among the tractors and barges, for about 1.5 hours. The environment is muddy, and thrills are guaranteed, but even kids can do it! The live guide will tell you about the farming of the cupped oyster and the history of the flat oyster: reproduction, color change, sizing, etc., with a few anecdotes and jokes! The live guide used to work in oyster farming, so it's easier for her to talk about it! The tour is referenced in the Guide du Routard, Le Petit Futé, Lonely Planet, and the Michelin Green Guide. See you soon! We look forward to meeting you!
