Chamonix
La Flambee run by Valerie and her daughter Maxime was well known for good food presented with a twist when the restaurant was in the centre of Argentiere. The team has now moved to Chamonix, where the Flambee installed itself in December 2011.
La Flambee in Chamonix is on avenue Michel Croz just a few doors up from the main Chamonix train station. The charmning alpine chalet style decoration will make you feel relaxed and cosy.
The menu features lots of classic dishes, but often presented with a twist to keep you on your toes. There are also Italian dishes, the local Savoyard meals such as fondues and raclettes as well as meat dishes.
At lunchtimes there is always a menu du jour with a choice of two entrees, mains and desserts at a price that's affordable.
