Description
Board a semi-rigid boat limited to 10 guests at Mucem, located at the entrance to Marseille’s Old Port. A local skipper guides the tour, offering unique sea views of Marseille’s Mucem building, Fort Saint-Jean, the Major Cathedral, and the Old Port entrance.
The boat approaches the historic Château d’If, a former fortress and prison made famous by Alexandre Dumas’ novel The Count of Monte Cristo. The skipper will share the site’s history and stories about Marseille’s harbor.
Continue navigating around the Frioul archipelago, passing limestone cliffs, wild coves, and clear waters. Depending on sea conditions, you may see Pomègues and Ratonneau Islands, the Cambrettes cove, or other inaccessible spots accessible only by boat.
The tour includes a swimming stop in a protected Frioul cove. Guests can swim, relax, and snorkel using supplied masks and snorkels. The exact swimming location is chosen by the skipper based on wind, sea state, and crowd levels to ensure safety and comfort.
On the return trip, enjoy panoramic views of Marseille before disembarking at Mucem.
