Description
This intense half-day canyoning takes place in the Haut-Verdon region, close to Colmars-les-Alpes, about one hour from Castellane by car. The canyon climbs to 1,600 meters amid larch trees and rough rock formations.
After a 30-minute approach walk, the route begins with waterfalls, turquoise pools, and narrow rock walls. Over two hours of canyoning follow, featuring consecutive jumps up to several meters high and rappels, including some under waterfalls. None are compulsory, but all are encouraged for those seeking a challenge.
The route is best suited to participants with some previous canyoning experience who are comfortable with heights. The return involves a short five-minute walk. Throughout the experience, a qualified guide ensures safety and support in this remote setting.
Participants must be aged 14 or over and in good physical condition. Equipment provided includes a neoprene wetsuit, helmet, and harness. Bring a swimsuit, closed-toe sports shoes, and plenty of energy.
