Description
This is a full journey along the Llangollen Canal rather than a quick excursion. Over 2.5 hours, you move through quiet stretches of canal, learning how the waterway functions and settling into the rhythm of paddling. The highlight is gliding across the world’s highest aqueduct, suspended between sky and river.
In winter, the canal offers a different experience: clear, still water teeming with life. It was featured on Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing for the quality of its water and aquatic wildlife. The peaceful banks and absence of crowds create a unique atmosphere.
