Description
Nestled in the heart of a wooded valley near the village of Gréolières, the Gours du Ray canyon originates in the Gorges du Loup, near Grasse and about 1 hour from Castellane and the Verdon Gorges. This river gorge offers a varied and verdant landscape, punctuated by deep pools that are ideal for jumps.
This introductory course takes place over half a day and allows you to gently try your hand at rappelling. Whatever your level, jumps, natural slides, and abseiling await you to discover canyoning while enjoying the beauty of the site and its natural pools.
The obstacles on this course are no more than 10 meters high: the youngest and the least experienced can jump into the water more easily, and those who are afraid of heights can always choose rappelling rather than jumping. No obstacle is mandatory. That's why we particularly recommend this course for families and beginners. However, the more athletic among you won't be left out, as some jumps are close to 10 meters.
The Gours du Ray is the ideal course for having a great time with the family while enjoying some thrills. Our professional instructors accompany you in full safety, as on all our canyoning courses.
