Description
The experience begins with a comfortable bus pickup in Lindos, followed by a scenic coastal drive to Rhodes harbor. Board a spacious boat and cruise across the Aegean Sea towards Symi Island, enjoying the sea breeze and open views.
Upon arrival, transfer by air-conditioned bus to the Holy Monastery of Archangel Michael Panormitis, located on the island’s southern coast. The 35-minute drive includes a 10-minute stop at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Symi's landscape—ideal for photography.
At the monastery, you have around 40 minutes of free time to explore the church, bell tower, small museum, or to light a candle in this historic religious site. After the visit, return by bus to Symi town.
You will then have approximately 2.5 hours to explore Symi town independently. Walk along the neoclassical harbor houses, enjoy local seafood at a seaside taverna, shop for local sponges and handmade souvenirs, or photograph the harbor’s picturesque scenery.
In the afternoon, board the boat for the return trip to Rhodes, where coaches await to transfer you back to your hotel.
