Description

Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing, begin the scenic drive toward Materuni Village near Moshi. Arrive at Materuni Village and meet your local guide. Begin a guided walk through coffee farms, small villages, and green landscapes to Materuni Waterfalls. The hike takes approximately 40–60 minutes each way, depending on walking pace and trail conditions. At the waterfall, enjoy free time for photography, sightseeing, and relaxation. Swimming may be possible depending on the water level and weather conditions. Return to the village for an interactive coffee tour. Learn how coffee is grown, harvested, dried, roasted, ground, and prepared using traditional local methods. Join the singing and grinding experience before tasting a freshly prepared cup of Materuni coffee. Enjoy a freshly prepared local lunch in Materuni Village. Vegetarian meals can normally be arranged when requested in advance. After lunch, drive to Chemka Hot Springs. Spend approximately two hours swimming and relaxing in the clear natural pool surrounded by tropical trees. Changing facilities are basic, so guests should bring swimwear, a towel, and suitable footwear. In the late afternoon, meet your driver for the return journey to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your hotel or agreed accommodation, marking the end of the tour.

Changing facilities are basic, and the natural pool may have varying water depth, so children and inexperienced swimmers should remain under close supervision. The tour involves walking on uneven village paths and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
