Description
This experience is not about how far we walk, but what we share along the way.
I am a Hmong local, born and raised in the mountains of Sa Pa. On this small-group cultural walk, I invite you to slow down and listen to the mountains, and to the stories of the people who have lived with them for generations.
We will walk along mountain paths, rice terraces, and bamboo forest areas at a moderate and relaxed pace, with many stops for storytelling and conversation. Along the way, I will share personal experiences of growing up Hmong: childhood in the mountains, family life, farming traditions, clothing and handmade textiles, and how we live with the forest and the land.
This is a conversation, not a lecture. You are welcome to ask questions about daily life, traditions, changes brought by tourism, and anything else you are curious about.
With a small group, this cultural walk is designed to feel personal, respectful, and meaningful offering a deeper understanding of Sa Pa beyond the views.
