Description
Departing from Camaret-sur-Mer, board the Sirène VI for a 1.5-hour cruise tour along the Route des Fortifications. Leave the harbor behind to sail into the heart of Brittany's maritime and military history, discovering a unique architectural heritage shaped by the centuries.
The Route des Fortifications: history carved in stone
From the first minutes of navigation from the Ponton du Notic, the landscape comes to life. From the deck of the boat, you will enjoy a majestic vantage point of the famous Tour Vauban, a stone sentinel that watches over the bay. As you glide along the west coast of the Roscanvel peninsula, you will discover historic forts built on the cliffside, silent witnesses to military strategies and legendary battles.
Crossing the Goulet and its legendary lighthouses
The ship then enters the Brest Strait, a strategic and fascinating navigation area. As you glide along, the horizon widens to offer you a magnificent face-to-face encounter with the Pointe des Espagnols, where the Crozon peninsula defies the ocean. Your gaze will also turn to the harbor's iconic sentinels: the Petit Minou Lighthouse, standing proudly against the waves, and the Portzic Lighthouse. These legendary landmarks have guided sailors from around the world for generations, offering a breathtaking show from the deck of the launch.
Drop-off in Camaret
After exploring these panoramas that are inaccessible from the shore, the Sirène VI begins its descent to take you back to your point of departure, allowing you to admire the coastline one last time before returning to the harbor of Camaret-sur-Mer.
