Description
Meet your guide and fellow participants in Kathmandu before driving to Raniban Forest, a lesser-known green area near the city. You will be joined by a small group of local university students who act as cultural companions on the hike.
The hike follows peaceful forest and hidden trails, gradually climbing through pine woods to the White Monastery. Here you can learn about Buddhism in Nepal and admire the monastery’s architecture along with views of the city.
After visiting the monastery, continue to the Single Tree viewpoint for panoramic views over Kathmandu Valley and surrounding hills. Take a break with local snacks and converse with your Nepali companions.
Throughout the hike, exchange stories, gain insights into student life, practice Nepali phrases, and experience local culture beyond typical tourist routes.
