Description
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Sightseeing
Pickup from Delhi Airport, hotel, or railway station. Visit Qutub Minar, a 12th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site, followed by Humayun’s Tomb, a notable Mughal masterpiece. Drive past India Gate and Parliament House. Stop at the Lotus Temple, a Bahá’í House of Worship, and visit Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi to Agra (Approx. 3.5 hrs drive) – Agra Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Agra. Visit the Taj Mahal, closed on Fridays, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Explore Agra Fort, a red sandstone Mughal fort. Visit Mehtab Bagh garden for sunset views of the Taj Mahal. Optional visits include a marble inlay workshop or local bazaar. Overnight stay in Agra.
Day 3: Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri (Approx. 4.5 hrs drive)
Depart for Jaipur with stops at Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned Mughal city and UNESCO site. Optional stop at Abhaneri Stepwell (Chand Baori), a 9th-century stepwell. Arrive in Jaipur and check in to your hotel. Evening at leisure or explore local markets. Overnight stay in Jaipur.
Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing – Return to Delhi
Visit Amber Fort, accessible by jeep or on foot. Stop at Jal Mahal (Water Palace) for photos. Explore City Palace, a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, then Jantar Mantar, a UNESCO-listed observatory. See Hawa Mahal, the 'Palace of Winds.' Drive back to Delhi (approximately 5 hours) and drop-off at your preferred location.
