Description
You will be picked up in the morning from your accommodation by a driver approved by the tourism office. Depart from the island of Djerba and travel along an old Roman road, stopping to photograph the Chahbania salt lake.
Next, continue to Tataouine, the city that inspired the name of the Star Wars planet Tatooine. Enjoy free time to explore the local market and practice your haggling skills.
Proceed to Chenini, a Berber village with a local guide who will explain the village’s features, including the oil mill, mosque, rock-cut houses, and attic spaces. Following the tour, enjoy a traditional midday lunch of local cuisine.
After lunch, visit Ksar Ouled Soltane, known for scenes from 'Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.' The tour ends with a comfortable return to Djerba in an air-conditioned vehicle.
