- The road to the port is from Vau i Dejës and takes about 2 hours from there to Koman Port; plan your travel time accordingly
- Parking near the tunnel is privately owned; fees vary between 5-10 euros and are not included
- If the river water level is low, the boat type may change to ensure reaching the destination
- Water temperature is cold (around 5-10 degrees Celsius); avoid jumping in directly to prevent health issues
- Bring a rain jacket in case of rain
