Description

Begin your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel, lodge, or agreed meeting point in Moshi or Arusha. Travel through the countryside toward Materuni Village, located in the green foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. On arrival, meet your local guide and begin a scenic walk through village farms, banana plantations, and lush vegetation toward Materuni Waterfalls. At the waterfall, enjoy time for photography, sightseeing, and relaxation while surrounded by the cool mountain environment. After the waterfall visit, enjoy lunch before continuing to Chemka Hot Springs, also known as Kikuletwa or Maji Moto. The springs form a clear natural swimming pool surrounded by fig trees, palms, and shaded vegetation. Although commonly called “hot springs,” the water is generally refreshing and comfortably lukewarm rather than very hot. Spend the afternoon swimming, floating, taking photographs, or relaxing beside the water. After the experience, your driver will transfer you back to Moshi or Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or agreed location.
