Description

At the beginning of the tour, we will visit Gelati Monastery, founded during the reign of King David IV 'the Builder', one of the greatest and most powerful kings in Georgian history. Next, we will explore Motsameta Monastery, where you will discover its fascinating history while enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. We will then continue to Bagrati Cathedral, offering spectacular panoramic views over the city of Kutaisi. After that, we will head to Tskaltubo, where we will visit the mystical Prometheus Cave and Tetra Cave, both famous for their impressive underground landscapes. Finally, we will explore one of Tskaltubo's enormous abandoned Soviet-era sanatoriums, where you can experience a unique glimpse into the town's fascinating past. Finally, on our way back, we will stop at a local horse ranch, where, if you wish, you can enjoy a horseback riding experience and even learn the basics of horse riding under the guidance of experienced instructors.
