Les Marécottes is an alpine zoo, situated on 1100m altitude. It has a wide variety of animals who's natural habitat is the Alps. On 35 000 square meters you can admire deer, beavers, bears, owls etc.
The park (a 15 minutes drive from Martigny) also has a swimming pool, restaurant and picnic area.
Opening hours: summer and winter season: from 9.00 until dusk. Low season: an automated kiosk receives your entry fee.

November to May: open during the holidays (Christmas and Easter). June to September/October: open every day. Mid September to the end of October: closed Mondays and Tuesdays. July and August: open every day.
