Millet Expert Shop
Chamonix
The Millet Expert Shop in Chamonix opened in 2007, offering excellent technical ropes, footwear, clothing, and backpacks for trail running, rock-climbing, trekking, mountaineering, skiing and snowboarding.
Millet is a French brand, specializing in skiing and mountaineering clothing and equipment. Millet is particularly well-known amongst the French mountaineering community, having been making high quality backpacks since 1921.
Millet’s style, once strongly ‘mountaineering’ in its look, has evolved in recent times with an excellent free-ride line (‘Ride On’), ensuring a great style on the slopes, combined with the excellent technical quality for which Millet is famous.
The staff at Chamonix’s Expert Shop are friendly, bi-lingual and well informed on their products, so you can trust them to help you choose the best product for your needs. It is also a great opportunity to check out some highly specialized mountaineering equipment such as the Everest boot – THE reference for high altitude (above 6000m) mountaineering boots.
Millet equipped the first French mountaineering expeditions to the Himalaya in 1950. From such a background, you can be sure to find material that will be suitable for your adventure, whether it be a simple skiing or trekking holiday, or an expedition to conquer one of the highest summits in the world.
