This is Chamonix’s biggest bookshop, and you can find all manner of walking, skiing and mountaineering guides, as well as fiction for all ages, and travel books.

The English language book section has a nice selection of fiction and non-fiction reads, with many nail-biting mountaineering stories from writers such as Joe Simpson.

You will find many great gift ideas, such as beautiful coffee-table books on Chamonix, or local cookbooks.
