The Caves Ribeyrolles is a hidden gem for wine buffs in Chamonix. For years we thought they only sold to businesses, but no they welcome everyone to browse their enormous amount of stock of wine, spirits, beers, ciders and juices. Well worth a visit.
The Cave sells wine for all budgets, starting with bag in box wines and going right up to the finest Grands Cru and Champagnes.
Each wine region of France is represented (and let's face it, there are a lot!), as well as 'new world wines' from Australia and Argentina and even neighbouring Swiss and Italian wines feature.
You can also get advise from the experts on what wines to choose if you're looking for something special, or like us just don't know that much about vino but know you like a good wine. Put simply, there will be a wine to suit any occasion.
The Caves are open Monday to Friday 08:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 18:00 and Saturday morning between 08:00 and 12:00. You can also browse and order online and the company also delivers within the Chamonix valley area.
