From Geneva: Full-Day Trip to Chamonix and Mont-Blanc
445 ReviewsHop onto a bus from Geneva to discover the quaint, well-known Alpine skiing village of Chamonix.
Le Petit Mont Blanc is located under the Zerotta chairlift on the Val Veny side of the Courmayeur ski area. The bar and restaurant is open during the summer and winter seasons, offering tasty food and snacks all day long.
Le Petit Mont Blanc is run by Giuliano and Simona in a traditional wooden chalet. In summer there's a huge terrace area facing the sunshine and in the winter it's a good place to head to in the afternoon when the sun has gone from the Checrouit side of the mountain and it's still shining in Val Veny.
It's actually at just over 1500m altitude and in the summer is easy to get to on the road that heads to the camping areas.
On the menu are drinks, snacks and homecooked foods from pizza and pasta, to meat dishes and risotto. There are tables inside as well as out on the patio in winter and summer. Plentiful main dishes come in at around 10€, very reasonable for a mountain restaurant we reckon!
