La Tablee a Chamonix
Avenue Aiguille du Midi in the centre of Chamonix hosts a whole range of restaurants and La Tablee a Chamonix joined them in 2011.
It is run by the team who used to be in Argentiere at Le Dahu hotel and restaurant and the menu offered is not far off the sort of food offered at there former establishment.
There is always a menu du jour at around 15,50€ with one starter, a main and a limited choice of dessert. Expect dishes such as salads and lasagnes, followed by classics like creme caramel or ice cream.
There is also a Menu Savoyard that basically consists of as much meat, fromage and potatoes you can wave a stick at for 18,50€.
If none of that is to your liking, there is also an a la carte menu with a wide variety of brasserie dishes including meat fish, fondues and salads.
