La Ferme on the slopes of Les Houches is open during both the winter ski season and the summer hiking, walking and mountain biking seasons.
The building is a rustic former farmhouse, making it an authentic place to have a pit stop when in Les Houches.
If you take the Maison Neuve ski lift you pretty much right over the roof of La Ferme on your left hand side. As soon as you exit the lift you can ski down a few metres and you're there!
Inside it's cosy and warm with lots of nick-nacks and wood cladding. The menu is full of tasty homemade goodies from French onion soup to fondues. There are menus and a la carte selection too, so there is something for everyone.
And outside, there's a south facing terrace with fantastic views towards the old Mont Blanc.
