Combloux

Combloux is often called the pearl of the French Alps, because of its scenic 360° view over the Mont Blanc, Aravis and Fiz with the Aiguilles de Warens. This traditionally Savoyard, family friendly town is is only 4 km from Megeve and 30 km from Chamonix. The ski area of Combloux offers 100km of slopes, mostly for beginners and intermediates, with lots of restaurants on the slopes and at the bottom of the lifts. For snowboarders there is the 'Air space Snowboard' area, and the Les Garettes slope is lit up at night. If you dream of skiing powder through trees then this one place you should try. You can reach the slopes of Combloux, which are situated a few kilometres above the town, by simply taking a ski bus. Through a liaison you can easily reach La Giettaz. From Combloux it is easy to access other resorts like Megeve and St Gervais, but life in Combloux is generally cheaper and the slopes are less crowded. If you not only want to ski the Combloux area, we recommend the Evasion pass which includes not only Combloux, but also Megeve, St Gervais, La Giettaz, St Nicolas de Veroce and Les Contamines.
