The Chamonix Mont Blanc valley contains six different ski areas where you can generally ski from December to May: Aiguille du Midi, Brévent, Flégère, Balme, Grands Montets and Les Houches.
Most of these areas are amongst the peaks of the Chamonix Valley, high above the valley floor, where the town and neighbouring villages are located. Each ski area offers a variety of on- and off-piste runs for all levels that are easily accessible through 47 lifts. There is 182 km of pistes in the valley and a huge amount of off-piste runs, offering fun for everyone: from beginners to the pros.
