Description

Experience the real life of Santo Domingo with the community leaders of the neighborhood called Gualey. Some activities include sharing the daily life of a Dominican family, learning about community initiatives, enjoying traditional coffee with the locals, visiting typical grocery stores, participating in local activities such as playing dominoes or going to the barbershop, and exploring different views of the neighborhood. Discover the wonderful natural springs where locals bathe and visitors can also enjoy. Lunch will be a unique experience at the host family's home, with authentic Dominican seasoning. Finally you will board the cable car to learn about the history of the area from the community.
