Admire colorful colonial houses, elegant wooden balconies, and cobblestone streets leading to squares full of history, culture, and local life. Your guide will share the secrets of the city’s architecture, monuments, and seafaring past. From there, we head up to the Mirador de La Cumbrecita, one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the Caldera de Taburiente National Park. You’ll be surrounded by a natural amphitheater of cliffs, ancient forests, and endless views that will take your breath away. A perfect spot to connect with the island’s pure nature and feel its untouched energy. Next, we travel to Tacande, the closest accessible point to the Tajogaite volcano, born during the 2021 eruption. We will drive along the new road built after the eruption, crossing areas forever changed by the force of nature. Along the way, you will witness the sheer power of the lava flow — vast fields of black rock, broken roads, and houses buried under tons of stone and ash. Your guide will explain how this event reshaped the island’s geography and the lives of its people.
