Description

On this tour, you can appreciate the main cultural, residential, commercial, and economic infrastructure of the city. There will be a panoramic journey of the most important streets and avenues of the city, like the Civic Center and its surroundings. Later, a visit to the Main Square, the Cathedral Church, and the Old Presidential Palace (Only From Outside). Following, you will be taken to a restaurant of your choice to have lunch. In the afternoon you'll visit the Mayan Textile Museum, which is the one with the biggest collection of Mayan textiles and artifacts in the whole county. It has Mayan gouns from all the regions of the country. You will learn about the process of making each garment, as well as the time it takes, the tools used, the deep meaning they have, and what it represents to them in their culture and way of life. Later, the tour will end at the Arts and Crafts Market to buy some souvenirs if you wish to.
