Description

Explore little-known places in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Serra de Tramuntana on this tour with a local guide and local lunch. Enjoy the option for transportation or take your own car and listen to commentary through a system of portable radios. Start with pickup directly from your hotel or start inside your own car if choosing the self-drive tour options. Buckle up and prepare for an action-packed day with several stops to discover the food, culture, and natural beauty of Mallorca. First, visit the hermitage in Valldemossa and sample a delicious local pastry. If driving your own car, the radios are easy to use and allow all the vehicles to interact with each other. Continue to Miramar Monastery to admire its Byzantine gardens, then try salt cookies with cheese. Next, visit a family-run olive oil mill in Sóller to learn about the production of olive oil. The tour finishes in Sóller with a traditional lunch of bread with tomatoes, olive oil, jam, cheese, and olives. Wine, water, orange juice, and a dessert of almond cake are included.
