Brevent Ski Lift Info

Brevent Webcams

The Brevent ski area is directly behind Chamonix on the south-facing slopes. From the centre of Chamonix you can access Brévent via the Planpraz gondola lift, but it's a five minute steep walk up the hill behind the tourist office. You can also catch the drag lift from the Savoy meadows beginner area which comes out right next to the car park for the main lift. You can also drive up and use the multistorey car park, but this costs per hour.

This south slopes of Brevent are popular for its sunny slopes and great views over Mont Blanc, Flégère, Grands Montets and Chamonix valley. You can find enough runs of different levels on- and off-piste and there are rollers, couloirs, natural table tops and half pipes. Brévent is a perfect choice for skiers and boarders of all abilities. From here you can take the Liaison cable car to Flégère so you can easily access both areas.

New for the 2011/2012 winter season is a Big Air Bag at the bottom of the Stade piste in Brevent, so you can practice your big airs and flips with a soft landing!

OUR VIEW: Brevent is great for a 'quick whizz' if you only have a couple of hours to spare to play on the pistes as the lift is one of the quickest. It's also great for lessons as all abilities can meet up and those not in lessons in the same group/family won't be bored. It's just a shame you have to pay for car parking now!!
