Paragliding - Savoy (Chamonix) Landing Site
ACCESS
It is forbidden to land on this site during the winter.
The site is a 10min walk from Chamonix train station. From Chamonix by car, take rue Joseph Vallot in the direction of le Brévent and les Praz, and take the first street on your left. The landing field is opposite the Residence du Savoy. There is a very small parking area, with more space uphill after the roundabout.

Suitable in the morning before the valley wind develops.

CAUTIONS
The site is enclosed and surrounded by buildings. Although this site is large, it is generally in the lee and so can be difficult to land, especially in the valley breeze. During the winter this is a beginners ski slope and landing is absolutely forbidden.
