Experience an unforgettable day trip from Munich to the 'Bavarian Sea' - Lake Chiemsee, Herrenchiemsee Palace & Fraueninsel! I, Peter, a real Bavarian from Munich, will be with you all day... After leaving the hotel in Munich (around 8:00 AM), the journey takes us to Prien, where the sparkling waters of Lake Chiemsee await. First, we'll take the boat to Herreninsel, where the majestic palace park and the magnificent Herrenchiemsee Palace bring the world of King Ludwig II to life. Of course, we'll also look at the castle from the inside! Then we'll cross over to the idyllic Fraueninsel – a place of peace, monastic culture, and traditional craftsmanship. You can stop here for a bite to eat if you like. You can enjoy regional specialties or take an island walk before relaxing back to Prien by boat and continuing to Munich (arrival approx. 5:00 p.m.). A day full of nature, culture, and Bavarian joie de vivre.
