Receive pick up at your hotel in Santiago and enjoy the scenery as you drive along the green fields of Chile’s Casablanca Valley, best known for its Chardonnays and Sauvignon Blancs. Take a break along the way for a taste of a local drink called chicha. The next stop is Viña del Mar, called the “The Garden City” for its abundance of flowers and green areas. Walk the charming streets, stopping to check out the main plaza and one of the famous Easter Island heads. After Viña del Mar, travel to Valparaíso, a photographer’s dream with its street murals, brightly painted buildings, and distinctive funiculars. Stop for a seafood lunch on the coast (at traveler’s expense). Then, on the way back to Santiago, stop for a guided wine tasting at a local vineyard before concluding the tour at your accommodation.
