- Marvel at the breathtaking views.
Description
We will begin the hiking adventure by picking you up at your accommodation. It is important that you have been in Mexico City for at least 24 hours before booking so that you have had time to acclimatize to the altitude. Once our tour guide picks you up, we will set off for the Nevado de Toluca volcano, or Xinantecatl as it is known in Nahuatl. It is important to bring enough water, at least an extra liter and a half, as well as electrolytes and snacks. Once we reach the lowest part of the volcano, we will begin to climb. We will have two options: take a truck that will drop us off near the crater or walk the entire route. Upon reaching the crater, we will decide whether to descend to the lagoons or continue to the highest point. If you decide to go to the highest point, the tour guide will tell you if conditions allow it. Once you reach your chosen destination, you will have time to take photos, rest, and eat something at the summit or at the crater lagoons. Once the time is up, you will begin the descent to the vehicle to eat something and begin the return trip to your accommodation.Includes
