Description

The Mexico City Architecture Tour will carry you through the heart of this lovely metropolis. We begin our journey in some ruins which are located in the Historic Center; be amazed at the impressive stone structures and learn about the advanced architectural techniques used by the Aztecs. Next, we’ll visit an iconic Cathedral in Mexico, which is a stunning symbol of the Spanish colonial era. Our adventure continues as we make our way to a charming 18th-century mansion showcasing Spanish colonial architecture covered in vibrant blue and white Talavera tiles, a prime example of this iconic Mexican artistic tradition. Just a short stroll away, we’ll find a splendid early 20th-century building designed in an eclectic style blending Renaissance revival elements. From here, we’ll head to a true Art Nouveau architectural gem. Its striking marble exterior is adorned with feminine figures and floral motifs typical of this artistic style. We will finish the Mexico City Architecture Tour in an innovative skyscraper known for its famous anti-seismic design based on the principles of harmonic frequencies; and from the top of this impressive building, you will be able to see the beautiful city of Mexico.
