In the far west of Medellín lies Commune 13, one of the largest districts in the city, a place that also tells one of the most heartbreaking war stories the country has ever experienced. But in a place where military operations uprooted families, its resilient spirit and willingness to change through hard work and through you, dear tourist, stand out. In recent years, the increase in tourism has somewhat overshadowed certain qualities that made our commune known worldwide, such as its graffiti, or the opportunity to experience the neighborhood in the natural setting where its inhabitants live day to day. That's why the night tour is perfect if that's what you want to experience. Today, Comuna 13 is a safe place day and night, but it's the nighttime that tells the most stories of the endless days of war we experienced in our neighborhood. Walking through it at night, without the hustle and bustle of the crowds, allows us to appreciate the life we live today and recreate in our minds the stories that took place on the same streets thousands of tourists walk through during the day. This tour will also give you the experience of walking the streets not covered in the tourist area of Comuna 13. We'll also explore the tourist area and the escalators, but we'll focus on the places actually inhabited by those of us who live here. And for a truly complete experience, you'll be able to sign one of our walls with a spray can. Plus, you'll have spectacular views not only of Commune 13, but of the entire city of Medellín and part of the Aburra Valley at night, when the mountains are adorned with stars and adorn our valley.
