6:00 PM – Hotel Pickup or Meeting Point Meet your friendly local guide in your hotel lobby or at a central meeting point in La Paz. After a short introduction, board the city’s modern cable car system for a spectacular view as the sun sets behind the Andes. 6:30 PM – Cable Car Experience Soar above the bustling streets and colorful rooftops on two different cable-car lines, each offering a unique panorama of the city at twilight. Your guide will point out key landmarks and explain the city’s transformation through its aerial network. 7:15 PM – Evening Walk through Downtown La Paz Descend into the heart of the city for a guided walk through the historic center. Stroll past Plaza Murillo, the San Francisco Church, and nearby markets where locals sell street food and crafts. 7:45 PM – Optional Snack Stop Stop at a local café or street stand (own expense) to try traditional snacks such as salteñas (Bolivian empanadas) or api con pastel. Your guide will help you order and share insight into Bolivian food culture. 9:00 PM – Tour Ends End the tour back at your hotel or at a nearby location where you can continue exploring La Paz’s evening scene at your leisure.

  • This tour takes place in La Paz, at high altitude (~3,600 m / 11,800 ft). Please take it easy if you are not yet acclimatized. Bring warm clothing—the temperature drops significantly after sunset. The tour involves moderate walking; comfortable shoes are recommended. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included only for accommodations within central La Paz. The tour operates rain or shine—please bring a jacket in case of showers. Alcoholic beverages are not served during the activity. Gratuities are not included but are appreciated for excellent service. Not wheelchair accessible.
