Join our mountain guide specialized in trail running for a one-day introductory course that will enable you to discover the techniques of mountain running and the secrets of preparation (physical and mental preparation, nutrition, hydration, equipment, etc.) for this exhilarating sport. Whether you're looking for advice on trail running or simply want to enjoy the beauty of the Chamonix landscape with explanations specific to the valley, this introductory trail day promises to be an enriching experience. Open to beginners. (15 km and 1000 m elevation gain maximum) The guide reserves the right to modify the planned itinerary according to weather conditions and participants' physical condition. Meeting point: 8:00 am at Chamonix town hall square, where the famous UTMB race starts and finishes Information: - Duration: one day (bring a picnic - which fits in your trail bag - cereal bar, dried fruits, 1L water minimum per person) - Open to 18-year-olds and over - Groups of 10 people maximum Equipment to bring: - Trail bag (10L minimum) - Trail shoes - Suitable sports clothing - Waterproof jacket - Long-sleeved merino second layer - Sunglasses - Sun cream - Cap or hat - Survival blanket - Trail or walking poles (optional) - Packed lunch - 1L water minimum - ID and money (in cash, for any personal expenses) Included in the price: - Supervision and advice from one of our mountain guides specialized in Trail Running.
