In summer, its turquoise waters shimmer like glass beneath the sun, reflecting the mountains above. Come winter, the lake transforms into a still, frozen mirror, wrapped in evergreens and guarded by snowy peaks—a quiet sanctuary that feels untouched by time. A short journey away, Grotto Canyon invites you into a very different world. Towering cliffs rise on either side, their walls etched with ancient pictographs that hint at the stories of those who walked here centuries ago. In summer, water trickles gently along the canyon floor, weaving past smooth stone formations.
