Day 1: Mexico City - Querétaro - San Miguel de Allende Our journey begins with departure from Mexico City to Querétaro, where we will visit the Querétaro Aqueduct, a majestic architectural feat, and the Exconvento de la Cruz, a historical site that reflects the region’s religious and cultural significance. We then head to San Miguel de Allende, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its colonial beauty and as a hub for artists and intellectuals. We’ll explore the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, and the Convento de la Concepción, among other places of interest. San Miguel is also home to vibrant galleries, craft shops, and a variety of restaurants and cafés. Day 2: San Miguel de Allende - Dolores Hidalgo - Guanajuato On the second day, we visit Dolores Hidalgo, where Father Miguel Hidalgo famously rang the bell and issued the ''Grito de Dolores'' in 1810, marking the start of the Mexican War of Independence. We’ll tour the Miguel Hidalgo House Museum, preserving the legacy of this national hero. Dolores Hidalgo is also known as the birthplace of the famous singer José Alfredo Jiménez. We continue our journey to Guanajuato, a city full of history, art, and culture. Known for its underground streets, Guanajuato is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We’ll visit iconic landmarks such as the University of Guanajuato, Teatro Juárez, Callejón del Beso, Diego Rivera House Museum, and the famous Mummies Museum, one of the most unique attractions in the country. Day 3: Guanajuato - Mexico City On the final day, you’ll have free time to explore Guanajuato at your leisure. You can wander through its picturesque streets, enjoy a typical meal, or visit some of its many museums. After lunch, we’ll take an executive-class bus back to Mexico City, where we will arrive in the evening, marking the end of this unforgettable journey through Mexican history, culture, and beauty.
