Description

Leave Mexico City in the morning and enjoy the rural scenery as you head to the colonial city of San Miguel de Allende. Upon arrival, you will participate in a 1.5-hour guided tour, during which you will see some of the city's main attractions, such as the Parish Church of San Miguel Arcangel and the Museum of Contemporary Art at Jimmy Ray's Chapel Gallery. You will also be able to admire the impressive baroque façade of the San Francisco Church and visit the former home of Ignacio Allende, an important figure in Mexico's War of Independence. At the local handicraft market, you will have the opportunity to buy traditional souvenirs and learn more about Mexico's history by standing in front of the Municipal Palace, where statues of historical figures such as Miguel Hidalgo and Ignacio Allende are located. After the guided tour, you will have free time to explore the charming town on your own. You can stroll through its picturesque streets, visit art galleries, or enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant or market. In the evening, you will return to Mexico City, with an estimated arrival around 21:00.
