Description

Your day will begin very early. We’ll pick you up from wherever you are staying within Mexico City. Enjoy a scenic ride to a small family owned food stand for a delicious Mexican breakfast. As we continue our journey we’ll take in the colorful mountains and some small towns. We’ll stop at a local shop in San Miguel Tlazintla, where you can purchase everything from towels and water shoes to drinks and snacks. Upon arriving at our destination, Tolantongo welcomes us with the marvelous views of it’s Grand Canyon, where we can take excellent photos, enjoy the silence that nature offers us and visit the small chapel built by the local inhabitants. Descending through the 23 curves of the mountain we’ll reach the Paraíso Escondido area, where we’ll find more than 40 thermal pools. Dare to explore the Paraíso Tunnel and cross it's suspension bridge. Feel the adrenaline of the Zipline that runs across the Tolantongo’s Valley, the longest in the dátate of Hidalgo, with a length of almost 2 kilometers (additional cost). Get ready to ascend toward the breathtaking waterfalls that flow down the Canyon walls, leading us into the heart of the main cave. Inside you’ll discover the very source of the river, admire stunning stalactites and stalagmites, marvel at the hidden inner waterfall and the horsetail cascade, and uncover the caves fascinating secrets. Continue the adventure as you step into a 40 meter long tunnel, naturally heated to 40°C, offering you the unique experience of a natural steam sauna. We’ll immerse ourselves and relax in the beautiful warm turquoise blue waters of the Tolantongo River. There, you’ll enjoy a unique experience of natural exfoliation. Before concluding our adventure we’ll savor delicious Mexican food at a local restaurant in the small town of San Miguel Tlazintla. At the end of the journey we’ll take you back to your place of stay, leaving you completely relaxed, renewed and delighted.
