Upon arrival, take a 45-minute guided tour of the site before some free time to explore the ruins on your own. Experience the unique sensation of swimming close to a Mayan community. Then, break for a lunch of foods typical to the Yucatán Peninsula. Indulge your taste buds with dishes of pork, chicken, beef, quesadillas, and salads. Continue to Cobá to discover the tallest building of the Mayan civilization in one of their most important cities. Located approximately 45 kilometers inland from the Caribbean Sea, Cobá is one of the oldest Mayan sites yet found.
