Day 1: Departure from Buenos Aires, Arrival to Colonia and transfer to Montevideo. A great adventure awaits! We'll pick you up early, around 7:00 AM. Our driver will pick you up from your hotel/Airbnb and take you to the Buenos Aires ferry station. After clearing customs (please note that passports are required), you'll board the ferry for a comfortable and enjoyable 1-hour journey along the Río de la Plata, which separates Argentina from Uruguay. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by your local guide and embark on a 2-hour walking tour of the city's most iconic sites, such as the Old Town, founded by the Portuguese in 1680, including the Calle de los Suspiros (Street of Sighs), the ruins of the Monastery of San Francisco (the oldest in Uruguay), the lighthouse, the Governor's House, the Basilica of the Blessed Sacrament, and other historic buildings in Colonia's charming Old Town. After the tour, you'll have free time for lunch (not included). Later, we'll head to the capital of Uruguay, Montevideo. During the approximately 2-hour drive, you'll enjoy beautiful scenery until you reach your accommodation. Overnight in Montevideo Day 2: City tour in Montevideo & Return to Buenos Aires.
