Chamonix Ski Lift Information and Webcams

EXCLUSIVE to My Guide Chamonix - three live, streaming webcams in the Chamonix Valley. We have two webcams in the centre of Chamonix town from the Terrasse bar looking out onto the popluar Place Balmat and one webcam in the middle of the slopes in Les Houches, courtesy of catered chalet company Maison Jaune, so you can watch the skiers and the apres-skiers in action!

Check out our live Chamonix valley webcams and live ski lift info to get up date details on what the slopes are looking like and which lifts are open or shut during the winter ski season in Chamonix.

The ski lifts in the Chamonix valley are also open in the summer and the webcams continue to run, so you can see whether it’s a good day to go hiking or biking in the summer, or if it’s going to be a bluebird or a whiteout day in the winter.

All the ski lift information is updated each morning before the areas open and regularly throughout out the day if there are changes.

The Chamonix Mont Blanc valley contains six different ski areas where you can generally ski from December to May: Aiguille du Midi (off piste only with a guide heavily recommended), Brévent, Flégère, Balme (Le Tour), Grands Montets and Les Houches.

Most of these areas are amongst the peaks of the Chamonix Valley, high above the valley floor, where the town and neighbouring villages are located. Each ski area offers a variety of on- and off-piste runs for all levels that are easily accessible through 47 lifts. There is 182 km of pistes in the valley and a huge amount of off-piste runs, offering fun for everyone, from beginners to the pros.
